Great stay at Ikamatua
Stay was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming and were more than willing to recommend surrounding spots to visit. Room was very clean and had Included everything necessary. Restaurant and bar was also attached and served all the kiwi classics. Great value for the price and could not have asked for more.

Made a booking for 1 room but when I showed up to check in, the room had been double booked. Got my money back no problems but had to drive to another town and spend significantly more as there was no other nearby accommodation.

all u need for a night stay cosy wee cabin good showers great bar meals bangers and mash big meals big outdoor deck would be great in summer

It was an old property but the room was clean and the bedsheets were amazing. The price was very reasonable and very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant and bar. Very quiet location.

Clean comfortable en-suite room. Staff was friendly and accommodating and a continental breakfast was included in the price of the room. Reasonably priced food and drinks in the bar.

hotel very reasonably priced but be prepared for very rustic conditions. if you want a lock on your room i would advise asking for this in advance as it is not a given.
