ホテル アジザ

This is a beautiful family run hotel on the hillside above the old town. The view from my room which had a balcony was spectacular. The old town is just a few minutes walk away down a steep hill. It takes a bit longer coming back up the hill. The city itself is slightly chaotic so this oasis of calm is very welcome. We did spot a small bus which runs up the hill but getting transport information in Sarajevo is not easy. Breakfast was really good. They dont serve food in the evenings but the old town is very close by with a wide variety of opportunities. We were able to get a beer at night. The city itself offers an experience very different to other places in Europe.

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a quite bit away from the main attractions and up a steep hill. The room was clean and quiet, but was never cool enough.

Great place with an amazing staff who will go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. It’s also very close to čaršija/old town, probably 4-5 min walk. Strongly recommend!!

The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was charming and clean. The breakfast was serviceable and the location, while walk-able to the historic city center was a schlep up a hill and at the edge of town.

Hard to walk up the big hill when it is over 30 degrees

The hotel appears newish and is modern with basic furniture. The staff at Hotel Aziza are what make it a great place to stay. They are incredibly helpful and always friendly and nice. Breakfasts were homemade with lots of selections. Good wifi. Many reviewers commented on the position of the hotel up a hill. It is indeed up a very, steep, long hill. Going down is easy, but the trip back up can be daunting.

Beautiful clean hotel. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Kenan, the tour guide, was excellent. Used his services three times. Ample,varied,delicious breakfast buffet. Very close to old town. Being disabled steep hill back to hotel difficult so generally took taxi back which was easy and inexpensive

A well-run, lovely little boutique hotel that, among other things, benefits from a superb location five minutes away from the old town. There wasn't a single staff member who wasn't willing go out of their way to make our visit the best it could be. Sarajevo itself itself is a fascinating, beautiful city that suffered mightily during the conflict 25 years ago, but signs of recovery are everywhere and the people who live there could use more income from tourism. Stay here, visit the Children's War Museum, eat lunch at Klopa or Dveri, two of many terrific restaurants we enjoyed. Our visit here was one of the true highlights of our recent journey.
