Manage your expectations. Ketchum is always pricy, but this was insane. More than $500/night for the cheapest room, one would expect a bit more. I was a late arrival 10:30pm. I totally understand there is no front desk person, they apply a "safe w/key" policy. I needed a code, picked up the house phone to explain. WOW, you would have thought my request was unreasonable by the attitude. The room-well... it faced the mountain and was practically on the street! You will hear every single car. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel with thinner walls. We had a room with a single connecting door (not a double door you typically see) --the neighbors kept trying to open the door from their side. They were not unreasonably loud, but we heard every single word of their conversation. Yes, THAT thin. At this price, I would think some sort of daily cleaning--nope every 3 days. If you want new towels, you must request them--usually more than once and eventually just go to the front desk after they fail to arrive. I get that finding employees is hard, but if you aren't going to offer basic hotel amenities and therefore aren't paying employees then lower your prices to reflect. 3 nights in a single king $1500+--no cleaning throughout the stay, no clean towels without a trip to the desk. Little over the top for a hotel of this caliber. FYI each room opens to the outside, not an internal hallway. You will hear every single person arriving and every door slam.
