GREAT for a taste of Japanese Living
GREAT place to stay if you want a taste of Japanese Living, and close enough to the Kyoto Station to walk. We arrived in Kyoto earlier than the check-in time, so the staff was kind enough to keep our luggage at their office, then deliver it to the house for us so that we didn't have to go back to the office to pick it up. My only recommendation would be that you ask the staff to turn the heat on before you arrive if you are staying there during the winter... the house was freezing when we got there, and we had to wear our coats and hats for some time before it was warm enough to dress down.
