Aunty is an amazing lady. I was so glad to be hosted by her, this is more than just a hotel, it made me feel like I have a second home here in Costa Rico. This was my first solo trip, I was a bit nervous when I first got to the lodge, it was not in downtown but more of an isolated place surrounded by all kinds of trees and plants. You woke up by birds or chicken, enjoy delicious and wide variety of breakfast served by Aunty. All the staff here were extremely nice and friendly, they keep you safe, make you feel like at home. I can't say enough more good things about this place. Strongly recommend :)

It was exactly what it needed to be-a place to sleep. Although the people providing the services were really awesome and pleasant! The breakfast was tasty and definitely more than we expected!

Perfect location, minutes from La Fortuna and all the attractions in the area.

First night we had a very bad room according the rate I paid. Toilet room without door. Very bad shower. TV without remote control. Very bad pillows. Because my complain, the administration gave us a better room with better conditions

Was charged extra at the check-in, was not expecting this.

Nice pool, lovely team always on hand to answer any questions.

Very friendly staff, helped me with buying groceries. Gave lot of good guidance for transportation to Monteverde. Aunty Nidia, Fernando, Joylene, Steven are all great.

This is a beautiful place and the nicest people ever! We were only there one night and one day but I wish we would have found this place sooner.

Very small place. It was only a mile or so from town which was the best thing about it. Pretty garden but pools small and cold. We were a party of 5 and we thought we were getting 2 room each with a kitchen but what we got was 4 rooms one kitchen attached to two of the rooms. Just was a mismatch of rooms. Kitchen was not adequate as we only had a spoon and 3 forks! I looked at the Villas and they seemed a better deal. If I stay here again I would go for the villas.

We loved Auntys! Nice spacious rooms, laundry, full kitchen, great location, quiet, nice pool area, and Aunty is so so sweet!!! I would come back and stay longer next time!
