This Hotel was amazing. The way that they placed the plants and landscaping really assisted in helping you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. It was very private, felt like you had a cabin . The hammock and back deck was a nice touch. We saw horses in the back . The staff was also very helpful in making sure that we booked the right tours . I almost don't want to let too many people know about this place. Highly Recommended

The cabin were great and had all that you might need. We were in cabin #9 and it was set in the woods with a stream running that you could hear on the balcony. We seen monkeys in the trees while we were sitting out on the balcony. It was so cool. We had great food and it was made to order for us after we ordered. The fish and vegetable platter topped with garlic butter sauce was the best fish I've ever had. This location was great as you could walk or drive into town and do lots of things. shopping, park and lots of places to eat. We plan to come back sometime in the future.I would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna area,

They put fresh flowers in the room. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. The garden was out of this world and we saw so much wildlife. The staff was great.

Very private and spacious cabins .. felt like cottage life! Nice balcony and handy kitchenette. Large comfortable best. Beautiful gardens and surroundings. Dinner at Ginger on site restaurant was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful with tour recommendations. We walked up the 3 k hill to a fortuna falls and really enjoyed the swim.

The property is owned and operated by a very nice family, grandfather, sons, (daughter unsure) and even a grandson. The grounds are beautiful and our cabin with two private porches was great. The restaurant on site was a nice touch with good food at a reasonable price. The staff were very helpful with booking an excursion. We did the night walk and the guide was quite knowledgeable however there wasn't much to see. We did the same walk on our own during the daytime and enjoyed it. We did feel the price of $50 pp for the night walk was excessive and the meal that came with it was very overcooked chicken. There was a nice restaurant just down the street that we ate at one evening when the restaurant on site was closed. All in all, a good place to stay and would recommend it.

The cabin closest to the river is beautiful with the the ever present sound of birds and the river. We spent a lot of our time there on the deck where we felt as though we were suspended in the forest...really a nice place to be. On the other hand we were not overly impressed with the restaurant; preferring to eat a short distance toward La Fortuna at Cafe Mediterranean where we ate pizza that was much like you would get in Italy; really good staff there also. We were only there for a night so didn't try any of the other restaurants in the area.

Wonderful place like your own cabin in the jungle. Surrounded by blooming trees of all kinds. Staff was wonderful. Food was great. A bit musty smelling at first but gone when AC turned on. Had 2 small bats in our room the first night. Not scary just trying to chase them out the door in middle of night!! Would definitely stay there again.
