Theva was No.1 hotel in Kandy!During 12day trip in Sri Lanka I stay Gallface hotel,Jetwinglighthouse, Heritance Kandalama,Heritance tea factory, every hotel was nice,but I really like the hotel.staff was very kind and familiar,the room command the splendid view, also meal was beautiful.

We had such a wonderful time at Theva residency. I have stayed all over the world and the combination of beautiful surroundings, food, luxury, and service made this perhaps my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It is modern, has a breathtaking view, the rooms are unique, beautiful and luxurious. And the people are the best. Russell’s staff spent every minute of every day working to keep us delighted. I can’t imagine a better hotel in this country. Also, the best restaurant in the province and one of the best in the country is basically your private kitchen.

The manager Abhay is a total diamond. Made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and the views are insane! Room was cool too and overall a very pleasant stay. Good amenities and nice spot to explore Kandy as is 10 mins from temple

Incredible restaurant patio and pool area. The manager was extremely helpful, went out of his way to arrange us last-second transport to the train station.
Location is both advantage and disadvantage depending what you’re looking for. Somewhat removed above the town.
