This property is unique as a colonial type building, we spent many happy hours on the veranda outside our room ( room 4). The main building is unfortunately in need of a lot of remedial works to the main structure as is the interior decor, which appears to have been sadly neglected, The pizza garden is not there and lunch is not served as advertised. The restaurants in the local area open when they feel like it, finding one that remains open can be a problem.
The manager, Lolli is a gem, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast, and dinners were very good.
Very lovable locals, most seem happy and willing to talk.
The overall standard of cleanliness is very good in the hotel and surrounding grounds.
Watch the mosquitoes they are vicious!!!!
