This hotel is in a great location to walk to restaurants or bars, but we booked a room with a King bed and it was a Queen size. We actually measured the bed to confirm. When we brought this up to the manager, he tried to tell us that it’s a “hotel king size”. My boyfriend & I have stayed at many hotels & always booked a king bed. NO other hotel we have stayed at has had a “hotel king size”, it’s just been an ACTUAL king! And honestly, the bed wasn’t a huge issue, but how the management handled it was. He was arrogant & would not admit any fault. They kept telling us that we would have to reach out to hotels.com to resolve since we booked through a 3rd party. They even suggested that we go to a different hotel completely!! I’m sure there are stipulations when booking thru a 3rd party, but when you are the hotel servicing the customers & you are false advertising your bed sizes, you should resolve in the moment with the customer, not inconvenience them more by asking them to reach out to the booking service or leave the hotel completely! Another issue, the parking is $50 PER DAY! And when they brought my car around to leave, it must have been parked under some water leaking from somewhere because my car had hard water stains all over only one side. Overall, nice lookin hotel in a good location, but I’ve had much better service at many other San Diego hotels.
