This place is classic. An old Boulder staple, and location is great. If you’re looking for a new sleek high end stay then go to the Saint julien. This place is filled with character. The day this place is gone will be a boring day in Boulder hell because it’s the last place that doesn’t look exactly the same as every other new hotel and apartment building that has completely ruined the charm of Boulder over the past decade and a half. The history and character make it a must stay.

Beautifully situated individual cabins at the mouth of Boulder Canyon. Bed was too hard and bathtub/shower could use some help. Overall experience was good. Staff was polite and helpful

First, let me say that the hotel itself is great. The room itself was pretty cozy. Location is also pretty good. Not very far from Pearl St. Now, the reason I gave this hotel a low rating was due to a huge mix-up that was caused by the staff. We were contacted by the hotel the day before we were supposed to arrive. They wanted to make sure that we will get the key to our room since we were planning on checking in late. We were asked to call them back the day of check in, if I'm not mistaken. I called back, got instructions regarding the late check in process and also received a combination for the lock outside of the reception area, where the key will be. We got in after midnight, and for some reason, the key wasn't in the lock. I was pretry confused, so I tried opening the other locks (there were 4 in total). Anyways, couldn't get any of them to open. I tried contacting the number that was listed for emergency, but no one picked up. We had to find a different place for the night. The following morning, I've received a call from the hotel. It turned out that there was a mix-up and a different staff member gave the room to a different couple that checked in late, as well. We ended up staying at the hotel for the next two nights, since we booked , since we drove for about 8-9 hours to get to the hotel after a trip in Utah. Also, it took quite a while to get a refund for the first night. I felt the apologies we received were a bit lukewarm.

Cute and cozy place, definitely needs to be upgraded and remodeled, historic doesn't have to mean old. The shower smelled funky and there was a lot of hair around the sink in our room that wasn't ours. The views were beautiful, coffee was great and the breakfast was also decent.

I love Foot of Mountain. It’s a throwback place. My only gripe is they do not have coffee makers in the rooms.

Customer service was great and the little cabin was very clean and cozy.

The stay was wonderful as the overall feel of the FOTM is relaxing and welcoming. Those working at the hotel were kind and always looking out for us. The snowy feeling of the location was perfect. The rooms were warm and very accommodating. Can't wait to return!

This place was PERFECT. It was absolutely adorable, very clean, great location, good value for the money, nice breakfast options, and the owner was super nice. It was actually one of my favorite places I've ever stayed and I travel quite a bit :)

Cabin type rooms that have all the comforts of home. Use of a bike was great. Excellent and helpful staff.
