This is an amazing place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough. The location and the chateau are lovely; you feel like you are staying at a private home (which in effect you are) with very relaxed hosts. The buffet/cooked breakfast is excellent, with home-cooked tarts, croissants, ripe fruit, etc. There are three friendly dogs but if, like me, you're allergic, don't worry as they don't come to the second floor where the rooms are. We certainly plan to stay there again when next we go to Bayeux. We went for the delux room which was especially lovely with a huge bath, but my brother stayed in a standard room and it was also spacious and beautifully furnishe.
