The hotel was in an inner yard on a residential street, thus it was very quiet.
Our room was clean and very spacious but directly under the roof. In German hotels, that usually means that it gets unbearably hot on hot summer days since there is no air condition. That day it was 32 degrees Celsius and we had to open all windows until past midnight and had a monster size fan run all night to be able to sleep. Apart from that, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast had good quality and the location was perfect for our needs: in walking distance to the hip Neustadt area with lots of restaurants and bars and to two tram lines. Directly next to the hotel entrance was a late night liquor/drink store with some rough looking customers. Due to the heat problem we would only stay in this hotel again during winter or would make sure to get a room on a lower level.
