Another business trip in Newcastle.

Reception staff really cheery, helpful and genuine and professional. On business during Covid, staff well aware of situation. Room was perfect, good heating unlike others in Newcastle where I stay weekly on business trips. The room was comfortably big, great bed, desk space, wardrobe space and decent bathroom and shower. All good.

Overnight stay with family

My stay was ok. Could have been a great deal better. They just need to remind you that you are entitled to additional discount when parking in one of the recommended car parks. I only realised when I was half way to my car. I had to walk another 10 mins back. I then struggled to get back upstairs, as I had returned my room card when I checked out. That was very annoying, given I was on a tight schedule. He stamped the back of my ticket and gave me limited instructions of what to do. Not very clear or concise. I worked it out in the end. We had an additional bed for my teenage daughter in the room. That was very uncomfortable and lumpy. She didn’t have a good nights sleep whatsoever. The standout was the breakfast room sever. I can’t think of his name. But he is an ardent fan of his local ladies football team. He was excellent. Those two took the gloss of an otherwise pleasant stay.

City Centre Hotel

Good clean hotel right opposite train station very central for City Centre Staff have obviously issues with new covid 19 but we’re doing their best to over come the restrictions Overall a good clean friendly hotel in a central city location

The hotel was well set with the covid restrictions. Reece on reception was incredibly helpful. Breakfast was set up well under the guidance.

Breakfast was a joke. Yes we are in COVID times but more effort could of been made. No excuses when we eating our breakfast in The Hudson across the road.
