Lovely helpful welcoming staff, beautiful hotel and lovely room very comfy bed.

First 2 stays in this hotel were great, the last one was SHOCKING. I booked a deluxe room with Balcony. Upon entering the room I was given I immediately realised this wasn't a deluxe room and there was no Balcony. Thankfully reception were helpful and apologised for the error and put me in the correct room. This "deluxe" room was terrible. The worst room I have stayed in for years, and I travel a lot for business. Ripped wallpaper, stains on the wall and floor, ripped curtains, not even a divan cover. The bed sheets seemed clean, and already having changed rooms once, and it was late, I decided to put up with it. My wife however rang the hotel and complained, I was too tired to bother, and they did in their defence offer my room service free of charge as they had no other Deluxe rooms available. However I would much rather have a room of a standard that I paid extra for than a free meal. It means I will not return to this hotel as I can't be sure what standard of room I will be turning up to. Which is a shame.

Stayed here on Saturday night with partner and two children. Room was clean and tidy, both beds really uncomfortable unfortunately. I complained regarding noisy people in the room above after listening to an hour of thumping noises to be told it’s a Saturday night by a member of staff on the phone - not overly helpful considering two young children are trying to sleep. Breakfast was brilliant - however wouldn’t return due to an uncomfortable and disturbed nights sleep which staff weren’t bothered about.

Friendly staff, clean room, easy parking all round excellent

just a lovely 2 night getaway with my gf.Had a room facing the pitch.was lovely and brillent weather helped. Would of been nice to have a bath in room with shower though.overall though loved it and the breakfast was exceptional.
