Highly recommend

I booked this hotel for a colleague. She had nothing but good things to say about it. Check in (which I was there for) was easy and the man was very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of major tourist attractions in Nur-Sultan.

My review is based on a superior room, with 1 king bed and I had an excellent stay with a fantastic view of Khan Shatyr. The hotel itself is located in a slightly secluded part of Astana, although easily walkable to the major sights either via the parks or road. I did request a room with great view before I arrived and can say they accommodated my request, so very pleased with that. The windows in my room were very large so I could enjoy my view of Khan Shatyr during the day and night. I was a single traveller so the room was large enough for me with plenty of space. Bathroom area was large as well. As expected, the hotel was very clean and had everything you would expect from a Marriott. I did not use the swimming pool but it looked great. There are plenty of options for breakfast with lots of places to sit in the spacious breakfast/restaurant area. Service was very quick and the food was of a very good quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful with check in and out being very smooth. Airport pick up and drop off can be easily arranged and I had no issues with either one, as both were on time and it is a 20-30 minute car ride.

Great location within walking distance of several attractions including Khan Shatyr and Bayterek Tower. The staff was helpful in arranging taxis for sightseeing. There is also a convenient money exchange at the hotel.

Could be number one hotel in Nur-Sultan

Wonderful place to stay, clean rooms, high quality service. Superb pool, sauna and fitness facilities. Excellent Vista Sky Bar - tasty food with fantastic views of the city. On the down side - it would be useful to install high picture quality security cameras in common areas and especially in the luggage storage room. We profoundly regret that, trusting to extremely high reputation of the hotel, we had forgotten to lock our bags before turning them in to the storage room.

Marvellous Marriott Astana

Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. From start to finish th staff made you feel like they’ve always known you. Providing expert knowledge and even had the time to help teach some of the local language. Each night I looked forward to coming back knowing that it was a great view of the opera house and the lovers park and also in walking distance to lots of the city’s many more attractions. The room itself provided a luxury feel and with enough space just to relax and drift away. Breakfast was an array of choices with a chef on hand to cook any individual requests. Fantastic hotel in a fantastic city.
