The room was nice. I didn't realize it had a kitchenette or i would have been more prepared

Beautiful hotel. Stayed in a suite, very clean, comfy, cozy. Whole place feels locked down, not sure if there's always so much security or it's been added because of Covid (key card needed to operate elevator, etc). Parking was a bit confusing at first as the free customer parking area is not well marked (underground on George St. turn right once inside and go through the double garage doors). My only complaint really was how hard it was to find. When family came to pick me up they had the same trouble, arrived at the location feeling lost, pulled into a municipal parking lot to try to get their bearings thinking "it's gotta be around here somewhere..." while parked right in front of it. Better signage wouldn't go amiss.

This was my first hotel stay during the COVID 19 pandemic and it was pleasant, clean and I felt very safe. Complimentary evening snacks (turkey kielbasa, sauerkraut and pretzels) along with a morning breakfast (eggs, bacon, bagels, toast, banana bread, yogurt, muffin) was a nice touch.

Clean room, plenty of space for the two of us.

Especially during the current pandemic, the rooms were cleaned in compliance with best practices and this was signalled by a coded sticker on the entry door frame, thereby allowing us to relax in the comfortable and well appointed suite. The packaged (included) breakfast provided was great, especially given the pandemic distancing and sanitary requirements. While we didn’t use the kitchen, it was not clear how many of each items (cutlery, rockery) were standard offerings. Nonetheless, we plan to take full advantage of the facilities next time we stay. The hotel is in a great downtown location, with easy underground parking and a Starbucks next door. Friendly, helpful staff. What more could we ask for!

Wonderful hotel to stay. Beautiful amenities. We had a kitchen and a living for a decent price. I would highly recommended to people.

The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. The hotel is very clean and safe. The kitchen was well equipped.

We found that with all the restrictions the staff worked to ensure things were wiped down after each client and overall sanitized in every way.

Lady at the front desk, which turns out was the general manager of the hotel, gave a poor first impression. First off, it was check in time and she was the only person working the front desk. A line up formed behind me and guests were being served at a very slow rate. She was taking phone calls and dealing with other guests while I was at the counter being helped by her with checking in. I only received part of her attention as she tended to the phone and other matters. Secondly, she assumed my overnight stay was for the sole purpose of having a party. She reiterated the fact that they had a “no party” policy multiple times even though I was not at the hotel for a party. I don’t know if me being in my 20’s made her think I’m looking to party but it was very rude of her to assume that was the case. She made it clear that if they received noise complaints, they would not hesitate to kick me and my fellow guests out with no refund AND we would be charged any compensation fees that the hotel needed to give to other guests who complained about any noise. I guess the fact that I booked a double room suite meant that it was for a party? Not sure why you have double room suites if you have a strict “no party” policy and assume that anyone booking that type of room has the intention of partying and making excessive noise. Not a good experience with the general manager of the hotel and it came only moments after entering the front door of the hotel for the first time.
