Le Ndiambour Hôtel et Résidence

Nice hotel in the heart of Dakar - within walking distance to museums, galleries + the ferry to Goree. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. The hotel service was good and rooms comfortable. They had a good breakfast buffet each morning and everyone was kind and courteous. I did not speak French but the hotel front desk was able to help me in English.

The staff are great and speak, french, english , and wolof. The building is nice, and tucked off a mail road so its pretty quite as well.

I recommend staying at Ndiambour! The things I like best were the great customer service and friendly staff, good food, and nice location. It's located right in town close to shopping and gives you a feel for Dakar. There was a mix of travelers at the hotel, and it had a very local feel. It's good to support a Senegalese owned business too! My feedback I gave the hotel is they could do a little maintenance work to update some of the rooms (paint, etc.)

We had a junior suite. The furniture was old and the bathroom door was not working well. Above all, the room was not clean and when we got to bed, we found a blood stain on the bed linen so we had to call to get it changed. I think the room was just not cleaned. They made efforts on the cleaning the day after. Furthermore, although most people at the reception were nice, we had to deal with a few rude people and at night, we had a wake up call at 3am by mistake. Overall, i am unhappy about my stay

We stayed at this hotel for only two nights. We were in Dakar for a wedding. The room was not clean at all. The bottom and the shelves of the closet had hair and dust. The floors in the bathroom were sticky. We asked for additional towels and were told that we could only get two since we were two occupants in the room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone hoping for a 4-star hotel. This would be a 2-star hotel in Europe or the US. On top of that, the staff was not friendly when we asked for the room to be cleaned and for additional towels. We never got more than two towels.

We had a paid reservation for 2 suites, at the arrival there was no room available, we've been relocated to a kind of 2 stars hotel with dirty rooms, not enough water to shower, we've been promissed to find our suites in Ndiambour the day after. We called next day again no room available and no person came to appology. At the end we signed an invoice for the 2 stars hotel with the half amount of what we paid. Good way to gain money ! I'm gonna see what hotels.com is going to do and will make a bid story of it.

Rooms are old if you are in the hotel building . Definitely, stay in the residence building. Air on was so noisy than you can not sleep. Bathroom is old also and not working properly. Wifi is not working properly with slow speed and not covering the full room

Very close to the city center. Convenient location.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Das Zimmer groß und sauber (superior zimmer). Der Service war top, alle sehr hilfsbereit und verständnisvoll. Ich werde bestimmt wieder dort buchen. Lg
