We were hesitant about coming here after reading some of the reviews. Upon finding the motel which is set back from the highway we pulled into the parking lot which had a few guest outside enjoying the evening breeze and thought "oh boy,the reviews were right". WRONG!!!
Everyone greeted us as though we were long time neighbors and had a smile and friendly words of greeting.
The desk clerk was AMAZING.He was extremely friendly and helpful. He signed me up for choice rewards and took the time to explain how it works and made sure i got the cheapest rate available to me!! My credit card had been acting funny all day,but he took the time to repeatedly swipe it til it worked.
We had traveled all the way from Illinois and was very glad to see that our room was clean,fresh and very comfortable. The beds are soft and the room is spacious.Both the refrigerator and air conditioner are ice cold. The house keeping staff are professional and courteous supplying us with everything we required.
This inn is soooo quiet! Especially notable because its off the highway. You don't hear your neighbors or even street traffic.
As a plus theres a gas station/convenience store in front and next door is Huggles restaurant that makes thw most heavenly pancakes and waffles that smell like spun sugar!
We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our stay for an extra week. Both Macon and Savannah are just and hour and a half drive making for good day trips.
Definitely Coming Back!!
