The hotel is only a 3 minute walk to the Knock Shrine. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and very helpful. It is a bit of a challenge to get to this hotel because the public transportation is not reliable in Knock. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time in Knock.

The staff were exceptional at Knock Hotel. In particular the manager Steven helped me miraculously when upon arrival I found out I had booked extra rooms that I did not realize I didn’t cancel. His persistence and efficiency in dealing with this matter were nothing short of a miracle. This matter was cleared up without delay thanks to his focus and wanting his guests to have an enjoyable peaceful stay which we did. His kindness and attention to breakfast and supper details were second to none. The staff worked tirelessly with the meals. Petra and David stand out for me for their exceptional hospitality. The other staff and housekeeping manager was also very friendly and helpful with clean comfortable rooms. I highly recommend Knock hotel when staying at this wonderful Apparation site. Thank you

Nice building in a great location though why the road to the shrine isn’t open directly from the hotel it is difficult to fathom. The restaurant is a well-decorated and pleasant room (apart from the worn, grubby kitchen door). It has a good ambience helped by playing appropriate music at an optimum volume. This is rare and a big plus. Food was good. However the service was slow and chaotic. The bathroom was not practical with a loo that was difficult to flush and there was nowhere to hang anything apart from two hooks in the shower cubicle. We had tea in the lobby and had to ask for the table to be cleaned. The waiter wiped the table with a wet cloth and replaced my book on the wet surface. Not impressed. The floor beside the table was covered in flaky pastry crumbs and not vacuumed until the next morning. A good environment but sadly poorly managed.

This place is a must-stay for pilgrims to Knock. The staff are very gracious, always making you feel welcome and at-home in the hallways. The front desk is exceptionally helpful in responding to questions, looking up information online, and attending to guests' needs. Had a great stay at KNOCK HOUSE HOTEL. Conveniently located. Shrine is a hop step and jump. Enjoyed a great Irish breakfast which was included and tasted many of the Irish delicacies. Definitely recommend this hotel fir the Shrine visit. For a small charge Brendan will transfer you to and fro the Clairemorris station. Better to arrange it with the hotel.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Very nice rooms. The dinning room staff were very polite and friendly. Some small maintenance issues with the room, like a burnt out light by the door/bathroom and a sticky door lock (had to make sure the door was closed and locked). We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
