I am afraid that I do not know where to start with my review of this hotel; but for the benefit of readers - I'll keep it brief.
Pros - Beautiful views over Corfe Castle and Poole Harbour Bay from the rear garden. Friendly service from Charlie.
Cons - Expensive and Poor Food - who charges extra for Chips on a Burger? The Pub, whilst very probably a beautiful building in its heyday, now looks tired and run down and is in very poor decorative order. The corridors to our room were in a poor state and the landing carpet was filthy. The room was dirty and thick with dust, cobwebs, spiders and mildew. The general level of hygiene in the room and bathroom was totally unacceptable. One expects miles better especially during these COVID times. You could draw on the dust on the TV and Mirror and I frankly do not welcome dead insects and other guests body hair in the bathroom drawers. All issues have been brought to the hotel owner's attention and I have no hesitation in stating that I would rather sleep in my car than that hotel.
All round a poor experience when we were looking forward to our mini-break in Dorset.
