Stössel's Hotel & Restaurant
We had booked the rooms via hotels.com and were under the impression that it was alright to bring your dogs. There was no mention on hotels.com's website that one had to prearrange the accommodation of two dogs. When we arrived on Christmas Eve we were greeted by the hotel owners, who were slightly irritated that we had brought two dogs- as they have three rooms where they accommodate guests with pets. We mentioned that hotels.com only mentioned that dogs were welcome not that you had to precook the dogs. Eventually the disgruntled owners managed to rearrange our rooms.
I would not suggest that anyone should visit this hotel over Christmas- as the owners are more interested in celebrating their own family festivities instead of accommodating their paying guests.
The only saving grace for this hotel was that it is in a very picturesque surrounding- but I would suggest you choose a different hotel.
