This hotel was ok. For the price i was expecting much better. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. I felt secure since they locked the doors at night and no one was able to get in without a room key. However, the shower would not stay warm consistently and they only provided 2 towels for a room with 2 beds and a couch pull out so i had to request more. They only provided one thing of coffee and when i asked for more never received any. There was not 24 hour coffee like they told me at check in. The breakfasts were typical covid brown bag but I was glad they offered breakfast sandwiches to heat up in the room. The stairwell, halls, and elevators were not super clean. Overall i would rate this hotel a 6 out of 10 and was pretty disappointed that i paid as much as i did for it.

Enough sleeping space and bedding

Great accommodations. Would suggest adding bagels and cream cheese option instead of only meat containing breakfast sandwiches.

Broken bed

My stay was for one night. The front desk staff was excellent however the room was not up to par. One side of the bed frame was broken which lead toe having to lay and sit on one side of the bed. Also there were clear signs of a leakage on the ceiling and the patchwork was horrible. Very noticable. There were brown stains on the carpet near the door. We did not take notice of these when we checked im as we were running late for reservations we had. Thee only reason i did not complain and seek a room elsewhere was simply because we returned to the room late that night after a beautiful day of celebrating my birthday and i didnt want it ruined all i wanted to do was sleep and leave in the morning. For any management that may be reading the broken bed is in room 207 just in case a report was never filed. I don't seek a refund or a complementary stay. I will never stay there ever again.

The best thing about this place was the location— hands down. The staff was nice-no complaints against them. Was disappointed that there was no breakfast when we specifically booked this place for the breakfast— we had visited a different Spring Hill location recently that did offer a hot breakfast so we thought the Alexandria location would be just as pleasing :( instead... they had a brown bag with a small bottle of water/granola bar and a fruit cup. Our room— the bathroom was horrible- the wallpaper was peeling and moldy and the shower had moldy spots on the tile as well. The door also dragged on the floor very badly so it was hard to open. We asked if we could change rooms the following day because we had not noticed until late that evening. We switched rooms and then when it came time to shower the hot water heater did not work :( so once again we had to switch rooms. Also, it’s a smoke free hotel but quite a few nights our room would smell of smoke and weed.. even down in the laundry area :( I won’t ever stay at this place again— we were completely disappointed considering we’ve had great experiences at other Spring Hill hotels... 👎👎

Checked in late afternoon and the staff was awesome. Next morning different staff and I felt she was rude and that I was a bother when I asked about breakfast. Just didn’t feel welcome
