Short walk from the docs to Pura Natura. there is a small office near the docks and Natalia was there when we arrived. She is wonderful, enthusiastic and showed us to our accommodations. Simple first floor rooms with AC and a nice breakfast (a new feature) each day. Clean bathrooms and room. Pura Natura faces the water and nothing in between you and the Caribbean except for some trees and a sandy pathway. is a very short walk to the beach.

Pour une fois l'appellation "Beach Front" est totalement justifiée. La terrasse en hauteur est à 20m de la plage avec accès direct de la chambre. Du fond du hamac, bercé par la rumeur du ressac on se sent le roi du monde. Grande chambre avec des matelas tout à fait convenable. J'ajoute un accueil souriant et très attentif. L'ensemble reste un peu rustique mais pour moi les 5 étoiles sont bien méritées.

Simple et efficace

Hôtel simple et efficace avec accès à la mer (dans laquelle on ne se baigne pas au mois d’Août), proche du village. L’accès plage est restreint entre 6h du matin et 6h du soir pendant la période de ponte des tortues. Les activités proposées par “l’hôtel” sont de qualité.

Great adventure...

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and confortable. The air conditioner was perfect for the room and the access to the beach excellent. We enjoyed the sunrise and the fullmoon, walked on the beach at night. The room is few minutes walk from the center of the town throughout nice sidewalks, close by was our favorite restaurant Pura Vida. And the boat service was great leaving us right to the hote frontl and picking us up there.

These rooms are a group of six that sit on the beach with only a short stretch of jungle with a nice path to the beach. Natalia was extremely friendly, informative, and even came by the first morning to check that everything was going well. This is a simply furnished room with very good air conditioning and modern bathroom and shower. Free breakfast, fruit, yogurt, and coffee was delicious. I don’t remember the name of the woman who served us breakfast each morning, but she was attentive, pleasant, and an obviously industrious young woman. This is away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street and I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I am in Tortuguero !

Tortuguero is expensive, even by Costa Rica standards. Our room was basic with hottish water. The room was cleaned every day but the bed was broken and the pipes were all patched up in the bathroom which made it seem a bit down at heel. Hotel receptionist was helpful but very keen to push tours.

The staff is very nice. Book some tours through their partner agency because they have friendly and knowledgeable guides. A few friendly cats in the area, buy some whiskers from the grocery store and make some friends. Sloths in the tree outside. The beach is a few feet away if that’s your thing as well, very shallow water but a refreshing dip. The jungle park is just down the street, 6km out and back close to the beach with some good wildlife. Friendly locals, probably a bit crowded during busy season, but all good vibes. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants but they all have similar menus, not the greatest cuisine but good enough.

Un petit Hotel, très nature avec des plantes des matières naturelles, quasiment sur la plage et à cinq minutes du plein centre, village. La réception se trouve dans le village à l’autre hôtel, donc il n’y a pas de personnel disponible directement dans le bâtiment ni de petit déjeuner. Nous avions la chance d’avoir la chambre familiale très spacieuse, joliment décorée, salle de bain qui donne sur l’extérieur vraiment très agréable. Le personnel avec qui nous avons eu l’occasion d’échanger et notamment Will, a été charmant. L’hôtel propose un service pour des activités notamment la pompe des tortues, la pirogue au petit matin. Très bien aussi.

Un petit coin de paradis ! Nous avons été accueilli et guidé par Natalia, Warren et toute l'équipe. Tout le monde est aux petits soins et très réactif sur les demandes et autres conseils. C'était un plaisir de découvrir Tortuguero dans ces conditions. Bon, nous sommes tombé sur 2 jours très très pluvieux, mais ça, l'hôtel n'y peut malheureusement pas grand chose et cela n'a absolument pas entaché notre moral :)

My stay here was wonderful. The staff was really sweet and the location was amazing. I loved sitting on the upper patio looking out at the waves as I read or had breakfast, and then walking a few steps to the ocean for a walk on the beach.Tortuguera itself is also special.

Good stay for one night while exploring Tortuego.

It was a good stay for one night. We arrived by boat and I was happy with the arrangement to be sure to arrive to the correct hotel. The staff of the hotel was really nice and the service was good.
