We were looking for some place to sleep after a long day in NOLA. We didn’t realize when we decided to go that it was Final Four time so lots of things were booked up. The lady at check in was so very slow. She was nice, but very very slow. Probably took us 40 minutes waiting to get room keys and there was only one person in front of us when we arrived. They were oversold so I don’t know how hard the system is to use in that situation. I’m a glass half full person so tried to sugar coat it but my fiancé was getting mega cranky. The hotel itself seems like a DIY operation. Projects half finished and such. Our bathrooms were mildewy and generally showing age. It was ok for a single night to sleep. Breakfast was provided and pretty average I guess. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, cereal, bread/pastries. The worst part was for sure the slow checkin. Perhaps because we were doing it at 10pm after a long day. Though I feel like a 40 min wait with only one person in front of us would be frustrating no matter the time of day.
