Simple and yet amazing
They stay overall was amazing due the amazing views and honeymoon emotions. The hotel is a 3 star hotel so for some Things maybe I expected too much as coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast is simple continental and I was surprised on Sunday I was told I could only take what I took the day before and nothing from the additional Sunday brunch unless I paid additional fee. The kitchen is good, we had a good lunch with good food well prepared. The room was a renovated one, clean and comfortable as we can expect from a 3 star hotel. I choose this hotel specifically as it was in the Netflix Korean drama “ Crash landing on you” as honeymoon surprise for my wife. Overall I think it was more expensive that I usually pay for a hotel even with 4 stars but than again, Switzerland is expensive anyway. The young woman in the reception was very friendly and supportive.

Very nice Place to stay. Very quiet and beautiful surrounding. However the rooms were very small as well as bathrooms. Internet connection was very slow. There was no air condition in the room

Reservamos a última hora, cuando ya no encontrábamos nada en lago brienz. Las fotos de la web desmerecen al hotel. El sitio es maravilloso, una joya de pueblo. Y el hotel es clásico pero remizado. Muy bien, gran desayuno y muy amables. Relación calidad precio he a para los caros estándares suizos

Great view, submontane location
Location is great, in a small village with a super view on lake, mountains etc. Hotel is ok although not modern, room rather small but clean and functional. What we really didn't like is the unfriendly staff, especially in the restaurant but also at the reception. Some people really don't know how to treat customers, amazing. The foreign staff, although not always with great conduct of the German language, is at least friendly and tries to make you feel welcome, but the Swiss staff is cold, distant, sometimes rude, under pressure, overstrained, or at least gives this impression. Some seem to have chosen the wrong job, they should rather work on something that makes them happy...

Site magnifique mais c'est à peu près tout
Rapport qualité-prix un peu surfait. Chambre désuète avec des matelas trop dures. Ventilation criarde à la salle de bain. Service à table un peu froid. Manque de fraîcheur dans l'assiette. Magnifique vue sur le lac à proximité immédiate du débarcadère.
