Everything about this hotel was perfect the staff are the best they have so much knowledge and are so friendly and give the best advice. Thanks guys keep up the good work

Everything was okay, except was no WiFi in the entire hotel. When you traveling the hotel management should understand how important to have that. Sadly was not able to use my laptop, and our cell phones in the hotel.

This was my second time to stay at Genio. Wonderful location and the rooftop views are amazing. Best place in Rome.

Cons: 1. One of our two rooms very mouldy smell. There was a dehumidifier on 24/7 which did not help much and was very loud 2. Toilet terrible flush in both rooms. They did come to fix one of the toilets to a certain extent but flush still poor 3. Shower terrible - shower head almost broken and didn't stay up straight in one room. Was not fixed after asking twice; water leaked around the shower door so that the floor was completely wet after one shower 4. Under the beds was filthy - there was a filthy bed cover under one of the beds - made me wonder if they would shake it out and use for the next person 5. Still has a key to lock and unlock the doors. So have to double check that you turn the key to lock the door when leaving or after entering the room 6. Not close to a metro (but metro system is pretty sparse in Rome anyway) Pros: 1. Rooftop especially for breakfast. Breakfast itself was pretty ordinary 2. Front desk and breakfast lady nice Overall, this hotel is tired and run down. It is certainly not a 4 star. Because it is 4 stars, we had to pay a city tax of 6 euro/person over 10 years old/night (city tax based on the star rating). That was an extra 150 euros for our stay! I would not recommend this hotel

The room stank of smoke from cigarettes. Perfect location in relation to all the sights & restaurants
