Very nice country pub with excellent home cooked food. Friendly staff. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. Fair size car park without height restrictions. Would 100% recommend.

Very good, clean, comfortable. Very friendly management & staff, two enjoyable evenings spent in the bar with lots of friendly banter. Bit pricey for a pub/hotel but that seems to be the going rate so no real issue. Would certainly stay again should the need arise...

Very friendly staff and good food but I'm afraid that's as far as I can go. The room was basic but my main concerns were a) The sweltering heat and if you opened the window, which is on ground floor so not great to leave open, you had people outside the pub smoking and the smoke then entered the room as did the noise. I guess the smoke might have helped me eradicate the huge number of bluebottles in the room. I ended up swatting an estimated 10 of the things! During this time I discovered the cleanliness of the room was lacking to say the least! This is a £40 room at best I am afraid to say.
