Hotel is in good location but you do need a car or taxi when arriving with luggage, as it’s a 10min walk to bus stop or main bus station.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Our plans changed at last minute, thanks to our airline cancelling, and they were able to provide a toothbrush which I had forgotten.
The rooms are a good size, especially the bathroom, and are spotless clean. The furnishings and shower however, look in need of updating. There was a mini fridge and safe, but the code didn’t work on the latter. They gave us a safe key instead, but this was fiddly and you had to remember to take it with you. So people who like Mod cons may struggle but this didn’t bother us too much.
The hotel facilities were good with a lovely pool which got plenty of sun, and a relaxing bar with Jazz music on Wednesday evening. The self service breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of hot and cold items. You could also get poached air scrambled egg to order.
