オットマン ホテル インペリアル - スペシャル クラス (イスタンブール)

場所がハギアソフィアのすぐ横と、最高です（ただ、空港からの送迎を依頼しましたが、車が入れないので、近くまでホテルの人が送り迎えに来ます）。近郊観光を快く手配してくださいました。レストランは、伝統的なトルコの宮廷料理で、有名なようでした。全体にやや古めですが、問題はありませんでした。部屋によってはWifiが遅いようです。朝食もまあまあでした。

早朝の到着にもかかわらず、部屋を開けてもらいました。アヤソフィアの真横というロケーションで徒歩であちこち回れました。

I was on a 3 day/4-night business trip to Istanbul to attend a conference. I arrived a day early to get acclimatized and get in a few of the famous landmarks of Istanbul, and so, stayed for a day in this hotel (before shifting to my conference hotel for the next 3 nights) close to the Sultanahmet area which is the heart of the old Constantinople/ Istanbul city, with landmark monuments such as Ayasofya (or Agia Sophia), the Sultanahmet mosque (or the Blue Mosque), Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. I picked this hotel for its rating (8.6 at the time of booking) and the fact that it showed up at the top of the list in Hotels.com. It turned out to be a great choice - excellent value for money. Walking distance from the landmarks, the tramway and the Airport Shuttle (Havaaist)'s Sultanahmet stop. And tons of traditional Turkish cuisine restaurants and shopping. Perfect for families looking for a great location, good accommodation at a great price. The free breakfast and Internet was bonus. The only thing to know is that cars cannot drive up to the entrance. But, at least in this part of Istanbul, you do NOT need a car - so that is not a problem. And also, the staff is VERY helpful about luggage, recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants, and in general very welcoming. But for the traffic, I would have loved to stay in this hotel all 4 nights and commute to my conference hotel.

Great location and very comfortable room with an amazing bathroom!

The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was great. Location is excellent.
