Comfortable, clean well kept hotel. Service desk was friendly and helpful. We were impressed by what was offered for breakfast which included fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. Parking was limited on the Sat night when the hotel was full. Would stay there again.

Was quite annoyed right off the bat when we checked in and were told that despite being a pet-friendly hotel there was a non-refundable $50 dog fee. After having driven Victoria to Toronto and back again I can honestly say that accross 2 months in 5 provinces this is the only time we met such a fee, having become accustomed to either damage deposits or no fee at all. When we got to the room we were dissapointed to find it in a state of disrepair. The interior door which was likely once part of a connection to the neighbouring room was held shut with splintered, crooked screws, and some of the wall paper had obviously fallen off and been stapled back onto the wall. There were even a few staples that had fallen out and were lying on the carpet, one of which I stepped on though gratefully not hard enough for it to stick in my foot. Lastly checking in and out was the slowest and most antiquated process I've ever seen, and took about 15 minutes on both ends. The staff were friendly enough, but were working with an obviously outdated system.

The staff here is unhappy. When I suggested improvements in service I was met with excuses. I wanted to hear, “yes, I’ll deal with it right away!” This is a management issue because management doesn’t understand the requirements of the visiting public. Nor does management understand that staff understands work issues and should be encouraged to engage in changes.

We had a great stay at Days Inn Cranbrook. Check-in was quick, the lady was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many selections. I just wish they had more people serving to avoid line-ups. Refilling coffee and bread had to be done by one single person who was serving the hot food line as well. This can be improved but our experience was great overall. We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

For the price it was comfortable with a decent breakfast included. Check in had was a bit delayed as only one lady was working the desk, but she was wonderful!

Great place to stay for a moderate budget the pool needs some updating but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great central location.

From check-in to check-out, it was a terrible experience. When approaching the reception desk, an employee was already saying that check-in was not available, but only at 4pm (I arrived at 3pm). There was no "good afternoon, how can I help you?" I didn't even enter the hotel properly and he said me this way. The apartment is dirty, carpeted, old. The bathroom also looked bad. There is a luminous sign in front of the hotel and all night, even with closed curtains it bothers the guest. Breakfast had no one to serve the guests. I spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to serve, and I went to the reception to complain. The receptionist herself was the one who had to serve the waiting guests because the breakfast staff was cleaning the pool! He was called, arrived and didn't even wash his hands to serve the guests. Simply disgusting. I do not recommend this hotel by far.

The hotel is ‘fine’ - not as clean and one might hope during a pandemic. The wifi was horrible, I never did successfully connect my work computer which was frustrating since it was a business trip. And in the absence of reliable internet access, the cable tv was spotty as well. The staff at check in were friendly enough but unable to recommend a restaurant for dinner, however the lady at the desk at checkout was fantastic - didn’t catch her name but she was super friendly & helpful.
