First of all our cable tv wasn't working. I called front desk thinking we were doing something wrong. She was very pleasant and apologized. She said she'd put a ticket/order in to have someone come take a look at it and if they were unable to fix it, she'd offer a discount on the room for the inconvenience. However, we left to eat dinner and upon returning noticed the door was ajar. I thought maybe somebody came in to check on the tv and didn't close the door but when we came in and the tv still wasn't working, I knew that was not the case. After checking the door again, realized it doesn't lock. It closed and can just be pushed open from the outside. Inside you couldn't deadbolt it because the door didn't align correctly. I went to the front desk and explained the problem. I was told there was no other room available. Well there was one jacuzzi room but I would have to pay additional to get that one.... Whaaat?!! Are you kidding me?! So they did have another room available but chose to not put us in there & eat the cost of the difference for their inconvenience. So here it is 7:30 p.m. and we're packing up our belongings with no idea where we would be going. Now I'm having a hard time getting my money refunded and even want to be charge a cancellation fee because it was cancelled too late. First, I didn't cancel by choice and second, our safety & security is more important. I would like to sleep behind a locked & secured door. Stay away from room 316!!
