Beautiful grounds very well-kept, spacious room, quiet, lovely views. Nice breakfast, open style restaurant. Good value for price. Would stay again. Only drawback was wifi-only in lobby / dining area.

The place is nice according the price. For me is average. Could be better

The hotel overall was is nice looking, but in our room after we took showers the whole room was moist and wet. It started condensing on the walls and the floors and made it a big mess. After first night, the hotel staff gave us another room. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. They don't have a refrigerator in the room or ice is not provided by the lobby. The breakfast is ok. The staff was helpful for booking activities etc. It is little bit away from the downtown and the stores etc but there is a mini supermart nearby.

After the first night we had a lot of bites. After the second night we noticed that all of the beds were crawling with bugs. We told the reception about it and they told us that they were going to change everything and clean everything really well. When we returned we found out they had done nothing. The same bed sheets were on and they even left dirty glasses in the room. So the beds and all of the furniture were still crawling with bugs. We told them about it and found a new hotel which was very inconvenient for us.

The gardens are nice and it is close to Tabacon Springs which is convenient for tour guides but the price was too high for the quality of the rooms, and when it is cloudy and raining, you can't really enjoy the gardens.

Nice view of the volcano from the garden. Good value hotel.

Great location for visiting Arenal and La Fortuna. Friendly staff. Tipica breakfast. Not so close to restaurants.

Breakfast was great. The staff is very nice and friendly. However, the roof leaked over the bed. Giant roach found in room. Beds are very uncomfortable. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. Shame the rooms are not given the care the garden gets...

This is the worst property i ever booked through Expedia so far. The room is very dirty and bugs are every where. Initially i booked for two nights but after staying one night i checked out and stayed in different hotel though they refused to refund my second night.
