Stayed at MONday for 3 days, 2 nights as a family with a 1 year old baby. Informed the hotel before arrival that we require baby crib, but they were still surprised when I asked for it at check in, then took more than an hour to fix and arrive. To be fair, they did communicate with us that the baby crib will be delayed after we checked into the room.
Location of hotel is about 10 mins walk from Kyoto Station. Manageable if you don't have luggage, but with 3 luggages, a stroller and toddler in tow, it was quite a challenge. Otherwise, a big Family Mart 1 min away, which we could grab breakfast.
The entrance light is motion sensor activated which annoyed me, because every time i got up to use the toilet or make milk for my baby, it turns on and i was afraid it will wake my kid up. I eventually draped a bathrobe over her crib to block out the light. There's no separate sleeping and dining areas. So when baby is sleeping, we had to move around with just the toilet light on.
didn't feel that the room was as spacious as i thought it would be, especially with 3 luggage and a stroller in the room, but it still served it's purpose and was comfortable enough for us.
