decor and position. friendly staff and helpful, breakfast was really good.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here to end our family tour of Italy. A 10 minute walk from the train station, a 15 minute walk to the main center with other bars and restaurants in spitting distance. The room was small for a family, but as expected and we were only in there for short bursts of time. The pool was very well maintained and clean, along with the pool bar.

A convenient distance from the heart of Sorento. Hotel has a beautiful pool that the family will enjoy. A warning however in that the family quad is a not a true quad as it is a typical room for 2 with double bed and an added roll away bunk bed. May be OK for smaller kids (although safety in question) but by no means comfortable for teenagers. Had we known we would likely have rented out 2 rooms. Every ounce of space needed for our luggage and reminiscent of dorm life. A nice place but limit yourself to 2 people in one room and you will have an enjoyable stay at the Hotel Gardenia.

The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the center of town. You walk on the main road breathing in all the fumes from the buses, scooters, and cars. Also an extremely loud, unpleasant experience. Taxis want to charge €20 to take you from the main square back to the hotel if you’ve had too much to drink. A three minute taxi ride. To walk from the train station by station is just a little bit less and walk into the main square. But it is an uphill grade of a slight.

Nice clean hotel with a good location close to dining and shopping. Rooms need some updating. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Quiet air con so room was always very comfortable. Staff nice/ helpful. Location on noisy road not so good.

Good facilities but below average breakfast. Some of the breads and salad were actually stale.

Staff is very helpful. Good location. Our room was on a busy, noisy room so we were not able to leave balcony door open.

Noisy, Real close to main street. Good walking to shops and food. Small rooms for a triple or quad. Good breakfast, from 7:00- 9:30.
