Outside enjoy the large, flat lawn, dock, patio with firepit and tons of lawn games and water sports available for kids and adults alike, including horseshoe, bocce, cornhole, croquet, wiffleball, kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. The open concept floor plan is perfect to enjoy some time away. The main floor has an open kitchen, dining and living area. Sliding glass doors lead to the large deck overlooking the lake where you can relax, dine or cook on either the gas grill or Big Green Egg outdoor cooker. Huge couches upstairs and down offer a place to rest after the 5 minute drive to the Athens Rooster for organic dark roast coffee. The main floor also features the principal bedroom with king size bed and a full bathroom.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with two queen beds and a full bathroom en suite.
The lower level has the third private bedroom with queen bed, a full bath, a living area, play area and work area. The kids will love the big screen TV, vintage wii console, play area with wooden toys, train set, magna tiles, duplo legos, musical toys, coloring books and more. The backs of the couches can be removed to become twin size beds and there is also a pack n play and an air mattress to sleep everyone comfortably. There is a desk, chair and printer for working remotely.
Outdoor fun is the name of the game here at Camp Schultz. Whether you are hiking, biking, leaf peeping, apple picking, skiiing or just relaxing in the hammock by the lake, there is something for everyone at any time of year. Two canoes, two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards are waiting to get you out on the lake, or enjoy free access to the Sleepy Hollow community beach, two pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, bocce ball courts, playgrounds, and golf driving range. Plenty of guest wristbands and key card are provided during your stay.
Our home will sleep 8 adults comfortably and up to 10 people, adults and kids.
