Location right outside of main town Boulder was great. The employees were super nice as well, and although the room definitely could have used some dusting (especially on the bathroom fan and the plug-in fan in the room), it was overall pretty clean! I also incredibly appreciate that this place was dog friendly (and doesn't even charge extra for them which is why we decided to come here). The pillows were amazing, but the beds were creaky and incredibly firm and uncomfortable. I see what other reviews meant about the mattresses, I'm not even 30 years old and I kept waking up because of how stiff they were. The doors (both for the bathroom and the entrance door) should be replaced or shaved down a little so that you don't have to slam them (or listen to neighbors having to slam theirs while you're trying to sleep)since they don't fit properly. Along with that the locks were a joke to try and deal with everytime coming/going from the room. People were loud and drinking through well into the night (probably like 1am at least) and smoking cigarettes and weed right on the porch, which I don't think was allowed. There was also dog poop EVERYWHERE (I don't know why people don't do this themselves, so rude) but it was kind of gross to walk around the property. The only other thing was that I was a little disappointed about, was that we couldn't leave our dog in his locked kennel with a bark collar in our room to be able to make a quick trip to the store.

Very cozy. You feel close to nature but still have a comfy bed and hot shower. Want to come back. Friendly staff

I loved this hotel and will definitely stay again. It is nestled into a valley area so you can hear the birds and are surrounded by trees and the creek runs beside this place. it is so relaxing! Adorable hotel and very friendly.

Nice place to stay just outside of Boulder, but a little disappointed with my stay. No towel available in the room and nobody in the office until 8AM... luckily I had a towel in my car. Also, no coffee or breakfast available, as I had to leave before the office opened at 8.

Amazing location up Boulder Canyon. Beautiful old camp buildings along a secondary river. Beautiful trails from the hotel. After several calls and a same day reminder, no roll away bed for my 17 year old. No apologies or attempts to solve. When checking out, no offer or inquiry on our stay. No breakfast options. No cell signal and WiFi was awful. No A/C and it was hot.

We love it! Already been twice this month. Peaceful and beautiful and amazing outdoor spaces. Perfect for our family of 3 and pup.

We stayed in the lower lodge next to the hostel. This was basically glamping. We had mice running around the room at night chewing into anything left out. No AC, it was really hot if temp was over 75. We chose this place because they served breakfast but they were not due to COVID without letting us know which added several hundred dollars to our week stay and driving through the construction in the canyon to get to town. They could have made “sack breakfasts” with a muffin, piece of fruit, protein bar and let you pick them up the night before. Pool is not heated, which was fine for me but probably to cold for little kids. So is you want expensive glamping this would be great but I would recommend staying in the buildings beyond the office they are a bit more up to date.

The Adventure Lodge was a cool spot to stay. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful (outside of one incident that I will explain in more detail). Location was cool other than some construction that added about 7-15 minutes each way depending on if you had to wait longer. Outside of that the location was great. Sheets and towels and the room overall were clean enough but just not very new. There is no a/c which I wasn't aware of, but actually didn't end up needing as it did cool down significantly at night. They provide a fan, but it was covered in dust when I arrived. I took the guard off and dusted it myself. More or less a non issue. The hot tub and pool were nice and my girlfriend and I were able to find time to utilize both of them to ourselves. After exiting the hottub the person at the front desk told me to inform them when we were done. After drying off a bit I walked up to the lobby to inform them and ask for another towel. I was hardly wet (not dripping wrapped in a towel wearing flip flops but no shirt) I waited for any other guests to be out of the lobby before poking my head in informing the front desk and asking for the towel. While I waited by the door for the towel presumably a higher up that was having a meeting in the lobby was quite rude to me, I didn't respond as another employee sitting beside him quickly informed him that I was being helped by the front desk person. For the price I would say that it was a little below value, but a fun time overall.
