Swiss Alpine Hotel Allalin

本当にすてきなホテルです。 木の香りが素晴らしく、スイスらしさ満点。木彫りの調度品の可愛さに思わず歓声をあげました。残念ながら雲が多くてマッターホルンは見られなかったけど、お天気なら部屋の中からマッターホルンも見えたはず。 フロントの人も親切で、ウェルカムジュースやチェックアウト時にミントをもらったり細かい所に気配りがあります。 スパもとても清潔で良かった（ほぼ混浴でしたが、これはこちらのスタイルなので仕方ないです）。

Zermattは非常にコンパクトな街で、人の往来の中心を外れると、田舎の装いが、感じられる山二囲まれた集落である。午前にマンハッタン、午後にゴルナーグラートと、短時間で廻れる。ゴルナーグラートでは帰りの登山電車を降りて、ハイキングコースを歩いた。下りが続く道、結構、景色に上下左右に広がる空間を歩け、愉しかった。日本でハイキングは下がなく、また時には上もない場合があり、その意味で山のハイキングは面白い経験だった。

The hotel was nice but we were charged for something we weren't told before. We arrived and were told that they had a spa and that if we wanted to use the jacuzzi of the hotel, we should let them know in advance. The next day, we said we wanted to do it and they confirmed we could use it. To our surprise, when the bill arrived we had to pay CHF 40 to use the bathtub, and we told the reception that we were not informed about this (in the check in, nor by the person who booked it, nor anywhere in the room there was this info). She just shrugged and said "it's a paid service". We were really disappointed as we wouldn't use it for this price, specially when there were 4 saunas that were free. Additionally, our train was late and we didn't make it to our dinner reservation on the day we arrived and even though I wrote an email explaining the situation, the receptionist made us feel really bad about it, even though it was not our fault.

Really loved the stay.

This boutique hotel is located just off the Main Street donut is quiet and is an easy 5-10 walk from the train station. Or you can arrange a ride with their free shuttle. Check-in is unique and inviting where you sit in their lobby with a welcome drink and they come to you to walk you through the process. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It is a boutique so he aware that the staff do leave at night and the hotel locked but you have full access still with your room key.

My husband and I just spent a lovely weekend in Zermatt. We loved the location and view from our balcony. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. I loved the extra little touches like the little chocolate squares we were given each night and the welcome drink. Our only complaint would be that the bathrooms are a bit dated and the shower was a bit low (especially for my 6'2" husband!). Overall, we loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

If by luck you do have room 55, well you will have such a beautiful vue on the Matterhorn, otherwise this hotel is very nice, room are beautiful, the breakfast is lovely, at the reception they are friendly and professional, and the location is pretty cool, I can’t fault this place at all and ah yeah : the spa Center is cool too:)
