very personable! bed and breakfast feel! excellent service!

Absolutely loved the location and the staff! However, parking is a bit inconvenient especially if you are arriving on a weekend evening/night. And although it's a fantastic location, there are cons to that....such as the noise. This is a beautiful old building with old windows that do not provide much, if any, sound proofing. If you choose to stay at this hotel because of all their positive attributes, be prepared to deal with the noise. We loved our stay there and wouldn't have changed it, but we may have brought ear plugs to sleep better at night.

This hotel is in a GREAT location. We were able to walk to everything. Hardwood floors are beautiful throughout.

Loved everything

Great room in a fabulous location if you want to be on or near the Riverwalk in San Antonio. No parking however except at a public garage a block away at you extra expense. Superb service and excellent food, snacks and information. Three blocks from the Alamo and easy access to the Hop On, Hop Off buses that start at the Alamo location.
