The hotel was beautiful. The beds were the comfy hard. The location was convenient to everything we were doing. The front desk staff were not very warm and friendly. And on Sunday morning when we were on elevator to check out and call an uber there was a sign posted on the elevator that the street out front, and all abutting streets were closed beginning at 8:30 am for a road race. Neither Ubers or taxis could get anywhere near the hotel. The gentlemen at the front desk were grumpy as usual and unhelpful. We needed to meet a bike group at 9 and had no idea how we were to do this. We set out on foot with our suitcases. Walked about a mile, lucked out to find a taxi. The road race sign should have been posted the day before so we could have planned accordingly.
