As a business traveler it is imperative to have good wi-fi and unfortunately that was not the case here, therefore I would not recommend this to business travelers

Value for money property in the old Beirut. Close to main Beirut attractions. Remember with pleasure the New Year Eve spent here with my family ten years ago.

Location in the central commercial district. Close to the American University of Beirut and you can reach the walk way on the sea in ten minutes. Staff are friendly and helpful

Great location and area walkable. A little pipe noise at night but comfortable stay and friendly staff with good command of English. Default taxi service is a little pricier than competitors.

I booked and paid for a room specifically with access to the club lounge, Their club lounge was SHUT DOWN for renovations! I booked room with a sea view, which was the highest in price category. They did not give me a room with a sea view, yet upon investigating, I found that they did indeed have rooms available. This hotel is 19 floors of hotel rooms and they put us up on the 4th floor with an unpleasant view of the roofs of other buildings. THIS IS NOT APPRECIATED AT ALL. I expect compensation or a refund and Hotels.com needs to take this up on my behalf. We like swimming pools, I had seen pictures on the website and the pool was on the 21st floor, sounded exciting and we looked forward to it. The pool was CLOSED for renovations. Seriously, nice hotel, but we did not get what we paid for. By the way we were a big group and in total we had 8 rooms booked. Only mine was booked for sea view and lounge access. This has to be taken up by hotels.com and a refund or compensations is anticipated. If not, we will have to take this up further.
