OK but could be so much better

The hotel staff are very nice and the hotel room is very basic. I think the hotel could do with a lick of paint and is a little run down, also please change the tiny bathrooms where I have to squeeze myself in and a sliding door slams behind you. The room was a little noisy from other guests

The staff was very, very nice and accommodating. The hotel is very charming in its decor. The location is close to art museums and many restaurants, markets and pharmacies. We will definitely recommend it and return.

Ok, but just OK.

Our stay at the Leonardo was just fine. The positive: The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and the windows and coverings were fairly good. And the location is very easy to the Altstadt and public transportion. On the less positive: the walls were quite thin and we could hear our neighbor coughing most of the night, and the cleaning staff room. The bathroom was VERY small, and the shower drain was very slow. Several plugs did not have power and we have lost power for about 10 min (I think they had to reset a breaker after we called). Overall, I probably wont stay here next time we visit Munich.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant about the hotel, but our room was spacious and clean. The hotel provided complimentary snacks and drinks and the beds were comfortable. Location was great as well. Would definitely return.

Nice and quaint little hotel. No fuss, no complications. Bed was comfortable, internet was fast, and the place was clean. The room even came with free waters, snacks, toothpaste, etc. Bathroom was a tight fit, but no matter. I would happily book here again!

Don't recommend

Long story short, this hotel overbooked its boutique hotel location and sent us to another location, near the train station in Munich. I had booked months in advance, and specifically wanted a location near the main museums. If I had had any advance warning, I would have booked a different hotel nearby. Place was clean, staff was nice, and they offered us free breakfast and parking at the new location, but to me that doesn't change the fact that you can't count on them to have the rooms you booked.
