They did a nice job of keeping the place clean. Lots of things are limited due to fewer people and current rules so they did the best they could under the current conditions. Little extra shout out to Ivan at the Premium beach bar he was awesome.

Food and beverage are not that good in the buffet restaurants

My 15 year old son and I spent our thansgiving there last week. We had an amazing time. Everything was amazing and I recommend this to families.

Everything was as advertised.. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, Arrived early wished for an earlier check in

I enjoyed my time at Barceló. They were accommodating. When I needed something they supplied it. Staff was friendly and cracked jokes with me in Spanish. Beach view is amazing. I saw the staff spraying down the beach chairs with disinfectant. I still wiped down certain things though. I didn’t have the cleaning ladies clean my room daily because I wanted to minimize the in and out traffic. But I would take out my trash and ask them for a new bag. I would change out my towels etc. Also, all staff members wore a mask which I really appreciated. The food was good enough for an all inclusive stay. When I wanted something different I would go out and buy it. I would stay here again!

Out of the 4 restaurants only 1 was open every night with the buffet. Most of the time you couldn’t get a reservation and only option is the buffet. The hotel next door is under a Renovation so every morning we woke up by 8 o’clock with the sound of a saw as they were cutting tiles. The choice of alcohol was limited and in my opinion not worth the all inclusive price. The pool was not heated and was 72° which is a little chilly for my taste.

The AC could have worked a little better. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was great.
