Room was amazing! Clean a breath of fresh air. The only thing was the room was on the first floor next to the main hallway and right outside the window was a trash dump so you hear every conversation, people walking, and doors slamming. Also, you hear people putting stuff in the dump. I didn't like that at all and took away from the relaxation of the room.

Quick check-in. Parking in the building. Convenient to everything in Old Town Alexandria. Spotlessly clean as usual.

Great location to walk King Street and just two blocks from the Metro. Parking is under the building, but very difficult to get to. And two almost 3 of the spots that really should be handicapped spots were filled with what we were told was a mangers personal boat! Our first room smelled of smoke even though the hotel is supposedly nonsmoking, the hallway also smelled of smoke which makes me suspect an employee smokes. They do have a nice hot breakfast which is rare these days!

We were spending time with friends and decided to make a night of it. Was a little bummed that the pool was closed, it was still early Sept.

Pros : Cleanliness, breakfast food very good and fresh. Customer service is very good. Cons: Parking is pricey. $10 maybe reasonable.

The hotel was not full, yet arriving at 1 PM I was told to wait till 3 PM. Never experienced that before. The front desk did not give me the proper free wifi info and I had difficulty to access free wifi in my room. The Breakfast was not a pleasant experience. To eat cold eggs served on a take out foam carton. It was the cheapest of breakfast presentation. ever. At 7:30 am, there was nobody in the dining area, nor front desk, and so I helped myself. Suddenly someone came quickly out of a door Did I not see the signs? On and on she went. I don't need to be yelled at by staff because I did not see a sign to wait in line. Put this info in my room or with my arrival package. The serving was very small and when I asked if I would be allowed seconds the answer was "one serving only". I asked for toasted muffin and the answer was no toaster in use. Is the Pandemic now an excuse for anything to keep cost down and offer the bare minimum? Do away with your buffet then, put a barcode on the table and via my Iphone I can send my selection to the kitchen where someone will bring me my free breakfast order on a decent china plate and allow to order as many time as I want. What a buffet offers is many choices and seconds. For sure, I do not eat like a pig and prefer small portions, but the charm of a buffet is the generosity of choices. If not, then please don't substitute by what I experienced for breakfast. Ridiculous.

The hotel went an extra mile to provide breakfast. Good job!
