We chose this hotel for the price as it was our last night of a 10 day vacation and we were more concerned with the cost than amenities. The beds were comfortable and appeared clean. The location was easy to find and near to where we visited family in Colorado Springs. On the downside, the shower/tub was very creaky, and I was uncomfortable that all the squeaking of the shower would disturb the downstairs neighbor and that maybe the floor under the tub was not stable. There was also a cabinet door hanging off its hinges on the sink cabinet. Breakfast was the usual hotel fair, minus the eggs and bacon or sausage, but that was to be expected for the hotel rate. The breakfast room was a second floor hotel room over the reception desk that looked like it was converted to be used for that purpose. It was comfortable but smaller than most hotel breakfast areas. I sat there for a while because my husband was sleeping in and I didn’t want to disturb him. Promptly at 9, the staff person working the breakfast room turned off the TV, volunteered to throw my plate away, and shut and locked the breakfast door. Without saying it, it was obvious that we were to get out. There is a great restaurant called Sandy’s across the road where we went for a late breakfast. Overall, the hotel provided a quiet, comfortable night of rest for a low cost and met our needs.
