We checked in on a rainy Sunday afternoon, made an error at booking and did not check my itinerary. Booked a room with 2 beds instead of a king bed. I had told the person at check in that this was our 18th anniversary, but he didn't pick up that this was a room witn 2 double beds. I went back to the desk and explained the error and he quickly gave us a room change to a King room. This room however left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The bathroom shower head looked dirty, tile was broken on the wall, rubber around fridge was dirty and so was the area where the tissue was. The next morning we met Lacy and told her about the situation and she quickly suggested a room change and upgraded us at no cost to a suite which was very clean, with a great view of the River. Because of Lacy's excellent customer service she was able to recover what started mediocre. I am a hotel professional, with over 2 decades of experience in 5 star resorts so I notice the little details very quickly. I know this isn't and never expected it to be 5 stars, but Lacy did the little things well. Thank you so much for making our anniversary better. We will be back.
