The welcome was lovely on arrival, as we had been delayed traveling down and were very tired. Felt like the Band for another party, were playing just to welcome us in!
The room was lovely - I just couldn't figure out how to switch off the Aircon unit so it kept clicking on and off all night. Maybe have a sign or label to denote how to turn off.
Room was very comfortable. Beds and pillows just right.
Bathroom flooring was loose across a number of tiles, and a little bit of limescale on door runner hinge, but the rest was spotless - I loved the showergel and shampoo/conditioner available.
Breakfast meals were plentyful, and staff were wonderful and polite and helpful.
Visitor is left wandering a little lost when bowls or glasses are not obvious where to collect from for yogurt or cereal or juice.
Although I didn't have any I liked the idea you can request poached eggs.
Wait staff were very attentive and helpful and even when busy tried their best to serve everyone with a minimum of delay.
Monday morning the waiter assisted my request for some tinfoil, so I could transport some flowers home on the train, without question.
Although we didn't have time to use the SPA, we will definitely be back and will do so then.
