Spot on, clean room and friendly staff

The staff in the hotel are lovely. The hotel itself is quite dated but reasonably comfortable. I found the room quite warm. Parking is available but is charged which is a little mean I thought when paying >£100 per night. During pandemic things not quite normal clearly. Meals/room service completely different to normal.

The stay was good but I could hear all the chatter going on in the next room. So I was distracted during my work.

Excellent stay. The room was very confortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast. Very good restaurant food. I will stay there again.

Due to the Covid guidelines in place we could not travel to the hotel for our stay. I tried to ask both Expedia and the hotel directly if the booking could be moved or the cost refunded, but neither were interested in even discussing it. Exceptional circumstances I know, but shocking customer service.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary We did miss out on lounge access but really enjoyed The platter and drinks as replacement Staff were really helpful and friendly especially Gary at the bar service

Great overnight stay with friends. Room very clean and staff really friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was well organised for the current situation.

I had booked the crown plaza as a birthday treat to my daughter & son-in-law as they both turned 30. I had organised surprise birthday balloons & cup cakes for them both & the hotel staff where absolutely fabulous helping me putting this surprise together. My daughter & son-in-law enjoyed their stay at the crown plaza & have said that they would definitely book again. The room was big a spacious & clean. Also the staff where so nice & friendly & was more than happy to help in anyway. I would definitely recommend the crown plaza hotel to family & friends.

We enjoyed our stay. But the location was a bit of inconvenience from the city centre.
