The faucet in both the sink and bathroom where leaky and leaked all night. There was some mold/mildew in the shower grout, beds weren’t comfortable. The luggage carts aren’t allowed in the elevators so I had to haul everything up the stairs. And the receptionist watched me take a luggage cart outside load it up and go around the corner knowing there was stairs I had to go up to get to my room on the ground floor and didn’t say a word to me to warn me about the stairs. The side door also did not work so I had to take my dog in and out of the front door every time they needed to go out.

Dont advertise free breakfast when there is none. I knew there was a blizzard coming in so i choose a place with free breakfast so I wouldnt have to take my kids out in horrible and drive. NO BREAKFAST! I also picked this hotel for the pool and it was freezing cold ans rust everywhere. Sheets were full of stains. We didn't even use the shower the 2 days we were there it was so full of mold. Dirty walls and floors.

The location is excellent. A few miles from downtown Des Moines and the airport. Restaurants, coffee shops and stores within walking distances. The staff was very polite. Check in was fast and simple. Someone at front desk at all times. Quiet place. In my opinion this hotel could use a bit of remodel. With that being said it’s still a great place to stay.

They were lax in the care of the room as far as amenities were concerned. There was NO tv remote. Coffee but no coffee pot or coffee cups. Beds were nice.

Very bad place linen not clean and if you stay a week they’ll never clean the room

We typically stay at this hotel every year on our way to and from our final destination in Wichita but this will be the last time we will stay here! Upon first walking in we noticed 5 gallon buckets on the floor throughout the lobby catching water from the ceiling. That should have enough for us to leave but we were exhausted and didn’t. Front desk had no personality. Once we got to our room we were hit with a strong musty smell which we also noticed along the hallway too. Then we saw 3 tiny little square pillows on our giant king size bed. Pillows were a joke and so uncomfortable! Clearly looked like they were for a toddler bed! The bathroom was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months! Tons of hair and dirt along the floor and baseboards and the handles on the sink and the shower both had gunk built up all around them. Clearly staff is not cleaning at all so I highly doubt they are disinfecting either! Thank God we brought a can of Lysol which we used to spray down the entire room. When we checked out and showed pictures of what our room looked like the woman at the front desk merely said “mmm ok” DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!

The room was dirty the curtain in the bathroom was ripped a hole in the shower only two towels and if you stay more than one night they don't come in and clean your room thumbs down

Everything was fine

There were dead bugs on the floor and a live one in the shower. The plastic bath mat was ripped and there was rust all over it. We only had 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. We only had 2 bath towels for 2 days. At least 10 smokers walked through the pool area while 2 kids were swimming leaving the door propped open. Wish I had taken pictures to verify my statements.
