For starters, at check in, we were expected to pay for parking for the 2 days of our stay. This was never listed on the site when we booked this hotel. We were able to get this waived after griping enough to the manager. This would have been a nice automatic gesture given the fact that the corona virus caused the pool, hot tub and the breakfast buffet to all be closed. Then, when we got to our room, the A/C did not seem to be working as the room temp never changed despite turning the thermostat down to 60. I opened the curtains hoping to get a nice view of St. Paul only to see a brown steel wall 3 feet outside of our window blocking all views. Wouldn't you put your guests in the nicer rooms when your hotel is only at a fraction of capacity(only about 5 cars in the parking lot) We will find a different hotel on our repeat visits to the area to watch our son play college football.

Was good stay. Covid messes up the wonderful morning breakfast but there still were cold items to grab, thank you for that!

I didnt like that the employee at the hotel cancelled my reservation while I was on the road to the facility. When I made the reservation I chose pay at the hotel. Even though the card I use consistenly didnt have the full amount (which I havent had a problem with other hotels) my other card covered the bill. I think that was dirty to do that while I am traveling instead of doing that at the time the reservation. Very rude when I question him about it. The young lady working that morning also rude

Everything was wonderful. The free breakfast was good also. I don’t recommend the restaurant however. We went down and ordered the steak sandwiches. Ordered medium. They were all red and ice cold. We were hungry so we ate them. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. We will go back just not to the restaurant.

Check-in was a little sluggish due to issues with the guests ahead of me in line. I had no problems with check-in though. Overall the room was clean and in workable order and service was good. The pool was clean. On one occasion there weren't enough towels for all the people present. The shower near the pool was convenient, but the temperature of the water could not be adjusted and it was very hot. The free breakfast was okay, nothing super special, they only had regular coffee, no decaf (decaf single servings were available in the room though). Good service by the person attending the breakfast though.

My wife and I checked in on Thirsday evening around 5:30. We were both exhausted, I had been up since 2:30 in the morning. My wife had worked the night shift Wednesday night so she had been up for almost 24 hours. When we climbed into bed we noticed that the head of the bed seemed to be slightly lower than the foot of the bed but were too tired to say anything about it. We didn't get much sleep Thursday night because of that. I called down to the front desk Friday at 7:30 Friday morning to report the problem. The girl at the front desk assured me that she would let the maintenance department know when they came in at 8:00am, so we went to breakfast. The maintenance department didn't show up while we were at breakfast so I went down to the front desk at 9:30. And let them know what was going on. There had been a shift changenand I don't think the message had been passed along. By the time I got off the elevator on my floor the maintenance engineer Tim was on his way to my room. As he was reaching out to knock on my door I told him that was my room and I opened the door and let him in. He looked under the bed and explained that the bed frame was bent and he would be back in 10-15 minutes to replace it. But he had to finish the job he was on first. He left and was back within 15 minutes with another maintenance man. They proceeded to strip the bedding, and swap out the bed frame, and reassemble the bed all within 10 minutes. Everyone was very helpful and courteous.
