Well-equipped room and facilities made for a comfortable stay. I’ve stayed here before when the hotel had a different name and found the rates to be competitive for the region. Only concern was that the wi-fi dropped out a lot, which I think is a local issue more than the hotels issue

This place is very central, short drive to the main town or an easy walk. The gardens are just beautiful and the foyer lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfy and our room was extremely quiet. Bed linen needed to be replaced as ours was all worn and torn on the edges on the top sheet. The buffet breakie was beautiful.

Weekend stay for two on trip to visit daughter for her 25th birthday. Last minute booking as son’s family was sick so didn’t want to stay with them and put them to any more trouble. Room was ready and waiting when we arrived quite late. Pleasant staff.

Last minute booking was very happy

We had a great stay with our 3-year old son and two other families with little children. All staff were very friendly and made our stay special and comfortable. The only thing is that when we made a reservation through Hotels.com, we didn't realise the room rate showing in the website was in US dollars. We only realised it when we checked our credit card bill and we were charged $100+ more than what we thought we were paying. We couldn't understand why the room rates were showing in USD when we are logging onto the site from Australia.
